Our History

College Corner Presbyterian Church has its heritage at Historic Hopewell Church near Hueston Woods in Oxford, Ohio.  Four local Presbyterian churches find their roots in Hopewell as daughter churches that were established in local towns as they grew up around the original site. Our church was established in 1849 and our present building was built in 1900.

Our church belongs to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination. The EPC holds to historic orthodox Christian beliefs within the Reformed tradition. You can learn more from the EPC website link below and from our statement of faith in the “What We Believe" section. The EPC motto is: “In essentials . . . unity; in non-essentials . . . liberty; in all things . . . charity.”
