Nursery is available for children 0-5 during worship and Sunday School. We do encourage all children to be in and participate in worship.
Kids of all ages Sunday School meets upstairs in the Education Building to the right of the Nursery at 9:30am. The children are currently working through the Jesus Story Book Bible. A new curriculum is coming in the Fall.
Children IN WORSHIP
Unique to our congregation is a longstanding tradition of children participating in the ringing of the church bells to mark the beginning of the worship service.
We encourage children to participate in congregational singing, confession, and Scripture readings during the service.
After the Pastoral Prayer a Children's Bulletin is available at the front of the sanctuary. It is designed to engage the children with the sermon passage and aid their growth in listening to the message each Sunday.
When: Sunday Evening Twice a Month @ 6:00pm, which includes a light dinner
Where: The Education Building at the Church
This program is for children of both the church and the community. The goal is to engage our children's minds with foundational Christian truths to equip them for the future. The name combines "theology" and "catechism," which sums up the goal of this program. By studying the shorter catechism they will learn basic theology in a kid-friendly way and these concepts will develop a healthy and accurate understanding of God, His character, and His work in this world.
We have a strong commitment to families and will encourage discussion of these topics by offering adult discipleship running simultaneously and cover the same questions in the shorter catechism. However, this will be presented in a way to engage adults and allow for discussion as a group.
